Dreams are such strange things. They have been told to speak of your subconscious.. I don’t buy that. I think dreams are an extension of your imagination. The wackier the dream, the more creative you are.
A friend has had the most bizarre dreams I’ve ever heard of. Once, she dreamt that her life was a sci-fi movie and she could will it to go any way she pleased! She was actually directing her life! How cool is that?
Then when we haven’t met for days, she has recurrent dreams of us. Not compromising ones, mind you. That, I say, is the true test of friendship. When in doubt, go to sleep.

very interesting!i 2 believe in the power of dreams...
Dreams are often the manifestation of your inner-most desires!
Sometimes though, they are simply a thought left incomplete during the day!
Observe next time, your dream is mostly about a thought that came to u during the day for a few seconds & you couldn't deliberate on that thought for a longer time due to some reason or the other..
Your mind completes the thought for you even when you are asleep...Amazing na?
omg, you are so right! but often, only the idea is born, without any body to it. the dream gives it structure.
hmm. i'm a little amazed!
@pratiksha : thanks. ironically, my sleep is mostly dreamless :)
You make an interesting connection between creativity and the contents of dreams. I have been transcribing my dreams for the last year and half; I am not sure if they can be considered creative in anyway but there has not been a single morning when I haven't been blown away with the contents of my dreams; the mind seems to be a beast rumbling eternally, picking a random memory stitching it with another, often improving the details in grand ways in grander landscapes. It's quite fascinating.
But Prachi, I don't buy that your sleep is dreamless ;)
